What is OT?

Occupational Therapy (OT) helps people of all ages develop, regain, and maintain the skills they need for everyday life. Whether it's building independence at home, succeeding at school or work, or participating in meaningful activities, OT focuses on helping people achieve their goals and do the things that matter most to them.

Meet your OT

Welcome!

I'm Jayd Fullerton, the occupational therapist behind Countryside OT.

Countryside OT was created from a desire to provide meaningful occupational therapy support to children, adults, and families within the communities where they live.

I adopt a holistic approach to occupational therapy, taking the time to understand each person, their strengths, challenges, experiences, and what matters most in their everyday life. I believe individuals and families are the experts in their own journey, and their voice, choices, and priorities should always be at the centre of therapy.

Countryside OT therapy is evidence-based and tailored to create practical strategies that can be incorporated into your everyday life. I believe therapy is most effective when people feel heard, understood, and supported with the tools they need to participate confidently beyond the therapy session.
